Administrative Structure of the Organization

The highest governing body of Grarbet is the Board of Directors, with the Executive Director as the head of the organization assisted by the Deputy Executive Director. Regular operations of the rehabilitation center in Butajira is assumed by a manager who reports directly to the Executive Director.

Memberships and Legality

Legality:
Grarbet was registered in 1995 as an indigenous non-governmental Organization (NGO) with the then Relief and Rehabilitation Agency. It is legally registered with the Ministry of Justice.  It has project agreements with the Bureaus of Finance and Economic Development and Health of the South Nations Nationalities and Peoples and Oromia Regions
         
Memberships:

  • Member of Christian Relief and Rehabilitation Agency. (A consortium of NGOs)
  • Prevention of Blindness
  • Network with the association of people with disabilities.
